Frequently, city and soul are split. We are taught that to relax and heal, we must go out of the soulless city and into nature. There is no doubt that nature is healing. But so are cities, which often reflect the collective soul. We heal ourselves and our communities by tending and caring for our cities. By caring for the city, we care for the communal soul.
