Aligning Career and Soul: Career Consulting

Guiding people to connect to their deeper selves and to find their calling is part of my soul’s purpose. True empowerment involves living our lives aligned with who we truly are and pursuing the calling that we were born to do.

Career Consulting provides:

• A sense of purpose, calling, vocation

• Clarity in what is truly important

• A deep understanding of gifts, skills, and experience

• Insights into your career journey and how you have ended up where you are now

• A clear idea of the next steps to take in your career

• An understanding of the internal and external barriers hindering the career journey

The career consulting process involves working with:

• Personality systems (such as the Enneagram and the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory) to help you understand yourself more clearly

• Dreams as they provide deep insight into our lives including our careers

• Story, modern film, fairy tales, and ancient myth, as they also shed light on our personal experiences

• Images as they provide a portal into understanding our unconscious motivations and help to transform barriers to self-confidence

Although I work with anyone in search of their soul’s purpose, I specialize in working with women. Women are sometimes unclear about their purpose as it is deeply buried under familial and societal expectations. Even when women become clear, they can struggle with the confidence to aspire to what they want. As a result of being raised in a culture dominated by the negative masculine, the patriarchy, women frequently unknowingly take on its ideals. They measure their lives and gauge their value by patriarchal standards, which often devalue the powerful aspects of the feminine. These unconscious beliefs run their lives from the shadows- undermining their success and self-confidence. These beliefs need to be uncovered and transformed. This is the path to self-emancipation as it frees them from the unconscious elements that unknowingly, but powerfully, influence their self-perceptions and behaviors. Ultimately, this process empowers the feminine from within.
