Dream Work
Dreams provide us with wisdom that our waking, conscious minds aren’t taking in. Dreams may seem non-sensical as they communicate through images and symbols, the language of the unconscious. These images provide us with insight into our lives including how to deal with issues we might be facing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It takes some practice and experience, but we can become more fluent in the language of dreams and hear what they are trying to tell us. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Dream images often represent aspects of the dreamer and the details and essence of these images provide important information. For instance, images of masculine figures in our dreams may represent our own inner masculine, our masculine side. The essence of the image (are they helpful? abusive? scary? loving?) provides us with information about the nature of our own inner masculine. Or if we feel stuck in some aspect in our lives, we can often find the answers about how to become unstuck through our dreams. ⠀⠀⠀

The ancient Greeks appreciated the role of dreams in healing the mind and the body. The demi-god, Asclepius, whose staff is used in the logo of the American Medical Association today, led sanctuaries where dreamwork was recognized as critical to the healing process.
